Robert Allen Fifer, 88, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Columbia, Missouri.
Robert was born December 21, 1932 in Chillicothe, Missouri to parents William James and Lorrine (Long) Fifer. He graduated from Chillicothe High School. Robert Married the love of his life, Shirley Mae Cooper on May 26, 1953. She preceded in death on April 16, 2014.
Robert worked two full-time jobs serving in the Army National Guard as a clerk and retired after 42 years of service to our country. He also farmed raising cattle, pigs and growing numerous field crops.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Deborah Sue Bate and husband Ray of Ashland, Missouri; Beth Ann Fifer of Port Richey, Florida; grandchildren, Kellye McCord of Ashland, Missouri; Randy Bate of Ashland, Missouri; Andy Bate of Fulton, Missouri; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother, David Fifer and wife Pat of Brookfield, Missouri; sister, Joyce Powell and husband Allen of Irving, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fifer; son, Donald James Fifer; parents, William and Lorrine Fifer.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at May Cemetery in Chula.
