Nila Jones

Nila Ruth Jones, 66, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Livingston Manor under the care of her family and Three Rivers Hospice.

Nila was born in Brookfield, Missouri to parents Fred Junior and Bonita June Jones. She attended Peter Pan Center and Livingston County Developmental Center. Nila was a Volunteer at Bella Brook Adult Daycare.

Nila enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, coloring, country music, crafting, Rainbow Camp, family reunions, BBQ, parties, and most of all gathering with family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Bonita Jones; brothers, Fredrick (Bud) Jones and wife Karen Jones; Dickie Jones: sisters, Sheila (Sissy) Acree and husband James Acree; Stella Elsea and friend Kerry Lewis; nieces, Vicky Kastanek and husband Jason Kastanek; Kristie Hurley;Valarie Jones and friend Shaunacee Miller; Krystal Muller and husband Richard Muller; April Vinzant; Tera Dahl and husband Tim Dahl; Tiffany Borja and husband Alberto Borja; Katy Tittsworth and friend Josefina Carrillo; nephew, James Curtis Acree and wife Tiffany Acree; 15 great nieces, 9 great nephews, 1 great great niece, 2 great great nephew.

Nila was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Jones, brother, Milton (Mickey) Jones, nephew Fredrick Jones III, grandparents, Milton and Margaret (Maggie) Jones; Walter and Elma Roberts.

A private memorial service in honor of Nila will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.
