Mildred Hoch

Mildred Louise Hoch, 100, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Morningside Center.

Mildred was born January 25, 1921 in Cameron, Missouri to parents Willard H. and Bessie Walker Lollar. She was a 1940 graduate of Lock Springs High School. Mildred married Kenneth W. Hoch October 8, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas. She retired from Hedrick Medical Center, where she worked in laundry services.

Mildred was a member of the Chillicothe Christian Church, Hedrick Medical Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, RSVP, and 42 Rainbow Division Auxiliary. Mildred liked to play Dominos and Bingo. She enjoyed socializing with friends and family.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Colliver Renaud and husband Thomas of Hewitt, Texas; son, Kenneth Hoch of Chillicothe, Missouri; daughter-in law Barbra Vencile and husband Rich of Sacramento, California; grandchildren, Ed Colliver and wife Lanie of Fort Worth, Texas; Jason Colliver and wife Poet of Hewitt, Texas; Mark Hoch of Trenton, Missouri; Linzie Stringer and husband Jeff of Corpus Christi, Texas; Thomas Hoch of Louisville, Kentucky; seven great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Booth of Jefferson City, Missouri.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Bessie Lollar; husband, Kenneth Hoch; son, Robert Hoch; son-in-law, Donald Colliver; daughter-in-law, Doris Hoch; siblings, Harold Lollar; William Lollar; Velma Eads; Lucille Anderson; Wayne Lollar; Lulu Lollar; and infant son.

Memorials in honor of Mildred may be left to the First Christian Church or the Grand River Multi-Purpose Center and may be mailed to or left at Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe

Funeral services will be Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10 am at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe

Burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe.
