          Joseph McKay, 81, of Chula, Missouri passed away at his home Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

          Joe was born October 25, 1939 in Fort Totton, North Dakota to parents Joseph and Mary Jane Lohnes. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Joe worked many years for J.E. Dunn.

          He was a proud member of the Spirit Lake Tribe of the Souix Nation. Joe had a special love for music, mastering several instruments. He shared his music with many people playing at care homes. In his free time, he enjoyed photography and watching golf on his television.

          Joe is survived by his daughter, Laurie McKay Chapple of Argonne, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jennifer Spake of Kansas City, Missouri; Bailey Chapple of Argonne, Wisconsin; Jacob Chapple of Argonne, Wisconsin; Jessica McKay of Appleton, Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Marley Daniels; Jaxon Chapple; Brayden McKay; Bentley McKay.

          Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary McKay; ex-wife, Judith McKay Burkey; son, Scott McKay; significant other, Betty Biswell; siblings, Eugene McKay; James McKay; Danny McKay; Alvina McKay; Loretta McKay; Eunice McKay.

          No services will be held due to Joes final wishes.
