Forrest Edwin Harbert, 79, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by family and under the care of Saint Luke’s Hospice.
Forrest was born February 9, 1941 to parents Raymond Forrest and Majorie Irene Stockwell Harbert in Chula, Missouri. He graduated from Laredo High School. Forrest married Shirley Armina Louderback on May 17, 1962 in Trenton, Missouri.
Forrest worked as a farmer and dairy farmer. He attended the Cowboy Church in Blue Mound, Missouri. Some of Forrest favorite times were spent woodworking and with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Forrest is survived by his wife, Shirley Harbert; children, Dianne Whitmer (Danny) of Carrollton; Charles Harbert of Chula; Wayne (Diana) Harbert of Hale; grandchildren, Aaron (Tonia) Anderson of Chula; Mandy Stover of Carrollton; Eric Anderson (Tiffany) of Chillicothe; Andy Harbert of Chillicothe; Emily (Ryan) Anderson of Chillicothe; Craig Harbert of Hale; Chris Harbert of Hale; twenty great grandchildren; Sister, Donna (Farrell) Vermiyea of Saint Joseph; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marjorie and sister Gracie Lucas.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
