William Tharp

William (Bill) Howard Tharp, 70, of Breckenridge, MO passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Kansas City North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.
He was born August 27, 1943 in Trenton, MO the son or Wilbur Hadley Tharp and Hattie Hazel Booth Tharp. He attended Breckenridge, MO schools.
Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church of Breckenridge and was an open and brave witness for the Lord.
Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was beloved by all of the Breckenridge community. He also liked hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler and doing jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his cousin and caregiver Deborah Johnson and husband Russell of Breckenridge; two aunts, Margaret Barnett and husband Rev. Elmer of Breckenridge and Mary Breeze of Breckenridge; three uncles, Lawrence Booth of Chillicothe, MO, Rev. James Booth of Trenton, MO and Harold Booth and wife Ethel of Trenton; two especially close cousins, Linda Martin and Diane Logston; numerous other relatives.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Janice Mae Tharp.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Breckenridge on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge.
A family visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.
