Wauneta Elizabeth Roberson, 90, of Mooresville, MO passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Wauneta was born in Dawn, MO on September 16, 1925, the daughter of Daniel William Hughes and Grace Frances Johnson Hughes.
On January 15, 1943, Wauneta married Robert Augustus Roberson in Yuma, Arizona. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2007.
Wauneta enjoyed being a homemaker and raising their children.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Diane McKee of Mooresville; son, Daniel Milton Roberson of Westminster, CA; grandchildren, Christy Cullen of Mooresville, Gail McKee of Wheeling, MO, Dixie McKee of Mooresville, Korina Roberson, Kassandra Garcia (Kevin), Karissa Kent (Adrian), and Kolina Robertson all of Westminster, CA; several great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Hughes of Dawn, MO and Jack Hughes of Dawn; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hughes of Dawn.
Wauneta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Robert L. Roberson; 9 brothers and 1 sister.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until time of service on Saturday.
The will be a private burial at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
