Violet Marie St. Clair

Violet Marie Sparks St. Clair 93, of Breckenridge, Missouri. Born June 17, 1931, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025 in her home surrounded by family. She was the beloved daughter of Roy and Velma (Derry) Sparks.


Violet was a woman of warmth, strength, and deep devotion to her family. She loved sewing. working puzzles, and especially hosting family gatherings-moments where her love and laughter brought everyone together. Her home was always filled with comfort and kindness.


On March 27, 1979, Violet married to, Joseph Elwood St. Clair. Together, they raised a large and loving family of 11 children. At the time of her passing. Violet was the proud grandmother to 37 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, 45 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.


She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Russell Sparks, Roy Sparks, David Sparks, and Lula Dillon; her husband Joseph Elwood St. Clair; her children Bob Allen Parsons, Debbie Schroeder, David St. Clair, and William "Billy" St. Clair; grandson Daniel St. Clair; granddaughter Chasity Bills; great grand daughter, Hayee Bills; son-in-law Alan Bills; and daughter-in-law Becky Farr.

Violet is survived by her children: Rosemary Jaudon of Longview Texas, Carolyn Burris of McGee, Arkansas, Linda (Steve) Bills of Breckenridge, Missouri, Robert Farr of Cameron. Missouri, James "Jim" (Jackie) Farr of Breckenridge, Jean (David) Gardner of Breckenridge. and Joann Cope of Southwest Missouri. She is also survived by son-in-law Russ Schroeder of Gossell, Kansas, daughter-in-law Levene St. Clair of Chillicothe, Missouri, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her dearly.


Violet's legacy is one of deep family bonds, quiet strength, and a heart that never stopped giving. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

A funeral service will be held for Violet St. Clair at the First Baptist Church in Breckenridge, Missouri at 11am on Friday May 9, 2025 with a visitation taking place an hour before. The service will conclude with the burial at Rosehill Cemetery in Breckenridge, Missouri.


Memorial contributions may be made to Three Rivers Hospice or the Baptist Church of Breckenridge.
