Veva Ann Oertwig

          Veva “Ann” Oertwig 80, of Chula MO. passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at StoneBridge Senior Living Center in Chillicothe. She was born on July 9^th 1943 in Galt, MO. To Vaughn Rhoades and Edith Tolle Rhoades. 

          Ann was a member of Turning Point Church in Chillicothe and also was a previous member at Soul's Harbor. Ann enjoyed to read, to do yardwork, participating in bible studies and assisting with ministry duties. She especially loved her church family and friends. 

           She is survived by her son, Fred Oertwig of Chula, her two sisters Ernistine Railsback and Glenda Gillilan of Chillicothe, along with several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

          Veva was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn, and Edith Rhoades, her sisters Mary Wilson, Joyce Keithley and Ruth Roney, and her son Brian Oertwig.  

          The family will hold a celebration of life for Veva “Ann” Oertwig at Turning Point church in Chillicothe followed by a lunch gathering.

          The celebration of life will be held April 27, 2024, 10:00am at Turning Point Church in Chillicothe.
