Twila Mae Boulware, 86, of Liberty MO, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away February 12, 2014 at North Care Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri
Twila was born December 5, 1927 in Quincy, IL the daughter of William Harris Ayers and Blanche Verlee Leeper Ayers.
She was a graduate of Canton High School and Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Twila worked in banks in Columbia and Hannibal, Missouri and after marriage she enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children.
On June 6, 1948, Twila married Rolin Travis Boulware at the Methodist Church in Canton, MO. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2009.
Twila was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Gideon’s International Auxiliary and PEO in Chillicothe. She also taught Sunday School when her children were small.
She enjoyed reading, playing the piano for Rolin, and especially spending time with her family and her dog, Jewell.
Twila is survived by two sons, William Boulware MD and wife, Shelly of Liberty MO, and Robert Boulware MD of Liberty MO; a daughter, B. Joan Boulware Ed. D of Murfreesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Christin Moran and husband, John of Platte City, MO, Carrie Johnson and husband, Seth of Platte City MO, and Travis Boulware and wife, Jennifer of Overland Park KS; five great grandchildren, Brayden Moran and Grace Moran of Platte City MO, Olivia Boulware and Ethan Bouleware of Overland Park KS, and Noah Johnson of Platte City, MO; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rolin; and a brother Jim Ayres.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
