Tommy Eugene Jones of Dawn, MO passed away August 29, at his residence under the care of his family and St. Luke’s Hospice.
Tommy was born at home to T. M. Jones and Alice Boggess Jones August 17, 1935. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1953.  He served in the Army National Guard from 1959 to 1962, and was a farmer all his life. He loved to go dancing, ride horses, 4- wheeling, camping, boating and his dogs Little Boy and Duke.
He married Grace Ross December 8, 1962. He is survived by his wife Gracie, children Teresa Heater (Bob), Troy Jones (Cindy), Tena Eggers (Brian), Todd Jones (Chrissy) and Tony Jones (Traci); 12 grandchildren Rebekah and Karah Heater, Jacob and Michael Jones, Katie (Blaine) Martin, Alison and Marcie Eggers, Tanner and Tucker Jones, Tori and Turner Jones and a great granddaughter Tyne Martin;  Two sisters Marjorie Young and Donna Coley (Neil), brother-in-law Bill (Ann) Ross, sister-in-law June and (Dean) Brown, and sister-in-law Joan Williams, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Helen Landuyt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in honor of Tommy Jones be made to the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association (www.livcosteamandgas.com) and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe, MO 64601.  Online condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on September 2, 2014 at the Welsh Cemetery, Dawn, MO.
Visitation will be at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO on Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
