Theresa Thompson

Theresa Maureen Thompson 70, of Chillicothe, MO. passed from this life on Friday, March 11, 2022, after a gradual decline in health.  She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Theresa was born November 11, 1951, in Odessa, MO to Ernest Wofford and June McNamee Wofford.

Theresa graduated from Odessa High School and went on to graduate from Nursing school at Lexington, MO. She was employed at Grand River Healthcare as an LPN for over twenty years.  She married Kylar Thompson in Higginsville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2011.

Theresa enjoyed her family time, especially with her beloved grandchildren, was on numerous bowling leagues, enjoyed trips to casinos, and taking cruises with the family.

Theresa is survived by three children (and spouses): daughter, Angel Stewart of Chillicothe; sons, Scott White of Chillicothe; Damen White (Sandra) of Marceline; fourteen grandchildren, Camryn Raney; Leah Cutler; Xavier Hanes; Raelinn White; Colby White; Shane Stewart; Ceyerra White; Rebekah Shermuly; Aaron Shermuly; Megan Shermuly; Bethany Snead; Katherine Parker; Timothy Snead and wife Elysiah; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Patrick Wofford of Kansas; sister, Sharon of AZ.

She was preceded in death by parents, Earnest and June Wofford; husband, Kylar Thompson; daughter-in-law, Laura White.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, March 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church Laclede. MO. at 2:00 P.M.
