Thera Jean Price, 60, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Chillicothe, MO passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Shepherd’s in St. Joseph, under the care of Hands of Hope, Hospice.
Thera was born October, 7, 1950 in Humansville, MO, the daughter of O. C. Price and Lucille McGee Price Patton.
She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and received her bachelors degree from the University of Missouri.
For many years Thera was a missionary serving in New Mexico, Belgium, France and Africa for various organizations.
She was a member of Word of Life Church in St. Joseph.
She is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Meneely and husband, John, of Chillicothe, MO and Diane Pierce and husband, Dow, of Bendena, KS; 1 niece and 3 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
