Sharin Sue Adams, 72, of Chillicothe, MO passed away July 10, 2012 at her residence under the care of her family and St. Luke’s Hospice.
Sharin Sue Adams was born January 30, 1940 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Troy Hayden Head and Vertie Louvenia Hoskins. She attended Chillicothe schools.
Sharin married James Adams who preceded her in death
She was a medical technician in the Liberty area and worked for Indian Hill Retirement Village in Chillicothe for 16 years.
Sharin was a member of Highview Baptist Church in Chillicothe. She loved helping people and walked for every Relay for Life in Chillicothe until she became too ill to take part in the relay. She was a tireless advocate for Chillicothe and considered all the residents to be her “large extended family”. She enjoyed working on family genealogy and growing many plants and flowers but her greatest enjoyment came from helping family and friends.
She is survived by five children, Pam Sumpter (Mike) of Liberty MO, Rebecca Kasey (James) of Chula MO, Linda Lamb of Liberty MO, Sheri Thomas (Robert) of Chillicothe, and William E. Wilson of Chillicothe; two step-sons, Roy Adams of St. Joseph MO and James Adams (Patricia) of Chillicothe; 19 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; four sisters, Bonnie Davis, Mary Mammon, Rose Marie Danner and Dixie Seaman; a brother, Jerry Head; dear friend, William G. Wilson; many nieces and nephews.
Sharin was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; step-daughter, Billie Sue Adams; sister, Ramah Stith; three brothers, Gail Head, Daniel Head and Bill Head.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe
