Robert “Bob” Dean Reasoner was born to Mryle Adrian and Doris Elizabeth Reasoner on November 22, 1942 in Ringold Co, Iowa. He departed this life on May 25, 2026, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Bob graduated from Mt. Ayr, Iowa High School with the class of 1961. He graduated with a dual major in Business and Agriculture from Northwest Missouri State University in 1966. On February 8, 1964, Bob and Louise Smith were united in marriage in Maryville, Missouri. To this union, 3 sons were born, Bryan Robert, Timothy Dean, and Justyn Howard.
Bob managed for farm supply companies for the majority of his career. During his professional career he also established a farm that he operated with his family as his true heart was in farming.
Career change led him to establish Lobo Pawn and Gun, which he operated until his retirement. His vast knowledge of firearms and love of business served him well.
Bob had a wide variety of interests throughout his life and it was said that even his hobbies generally made money. Guns, shooting sports, horses, mules, cattle, and raising goats to name a few.
Once their sons were raised, Bob and Louise traveled the lower 48, Canada, and Mexico on their Gold Wing motorcycle. They attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally for 23 years. His true preference was Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and his last was a Harley Davidson Trike.
Bob’s church home was with Circle 3 Tree Cowboy Church let by Pastor Ron Ratliff, where he enjoyed fellowship with his church family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Myrle and Doris Reasoner, his father-in-law Myron Smith and his mother-in-law Wilma Smith.
Bob is survived by his wife Louise Reasoner, three sons: Bryan Reasoner, Timothy Reasoner (Kellie), and Justyn Reasoner (Reagan), as well as 10 grandchildren. He also survived by his two sisters Cindy and Dean Cavender, and Karen and Gene Cope.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later time at his hometown of Tingley, Iowa.
