Pauline C. Jones, 99, of Morningside Center in Chillicothe, MO passed away April 13, 2011 at Morningside Center under the care of Hedrick Medical Center Hospice.
She was born April 11, 1912 in rural White County near McMinnville, TN the daughter of Dabner Marshall Chisam and Ethel Clennie Kidwell Chisam.
Pauline married Cleo Ewing Jones in Tennessee and they moved to Roseville, IL and came to live in Missouri in 1955. Mr. Jones preceded her in death in 1987.
For many years Pauline was a social worker for  the Green Hills Human Resources Green Thumb Program in Chillicothe.
She was a member of the Chillicothe Church of Christ.
Pauline is survived by one daughter, Linda K. Alexander of Gravois Mills, MO; four sons, Bobby Lance of McMinnville, TN, Jerry F. Jones and wife, Cynthia K., of Chillicothe, Ron Jones and wife, Jane, of Maryville, MO and Thomas Jones of Chillicothe; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister Ruby Warren of KY; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Cleo; a son, John Paul Jones in May 1985; sisters Cleta, Perline (her twin) Persing, Leara, Magaline; brothers Vollmar and Alton and an infant brother and sister.
Memorials may be made to Operation Help and left at the funeral home or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday April 18, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
There is no scheduled visitation.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 and from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday April 17, 2011.
