Patty Lou Tipton

     Patty Lou Tipton, 93, passed away on June 4, 2026 at her home north of Wheeling, MO. Patty was born on March 9, 1933 to parents James and Berta Stith Cooper. She graduated from high school and worked at Midwest Glove. On March 20, 1953, she married Bill Kenneth Tipton in Trenton, MO.

     Patty spent much of her time enjoying crocheting, quilting, sewing, maintaining flowers and a garden, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

     Patty is survived by her husband, Bill Tipton and their children, Terry Tipton and his wife Jennie, Debbie Tipton German, Tom Tipton, Brenda Hayward and her husband Stan, John Tipton and his wife Angie, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     She is preceded in passing by her son, Kenny Tipton and grandson, Curtis Lowe.

     Memorials for Patty Lou Tipton may be made to the Wheeling Shelter House and/or Wheeling Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N Washington St, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

     A graveside service will be held at Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 3 pm.
