Maxine Erisman BeVelle, 93, formerly of Mooresville, died May 26, 2016 at 7:55 AM in Ozark, MO.
She was born December 27, 1922 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Ray and Sue Erisman and was a graduate of Ruskin Heights High School.
Maxine was married to Stanley BeVelle on October 30, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2007.
She worked as a quality control manager in a bomber aircraft plant in World War II while her husband was fighting in Europe. She worked for the Missouri Correctional Center in Chillicothe and retired from there.
Maxine and Stanley traveled the world as a Military family for 22 years. Their many travels included Europe Saudi Arabia, and many US states. Many times while Stanley was away fighting for our country, Maxine gladly shouldered the responsibility of raising four children, sometimes by herself as many of the greatest generation had to do.
After they retired, they moved back to their beloved North Missouri where they bought a farm and lived out their lives.
Maxine is survived by sons, Jerry and Claude; brother Claude Erisman; grandchildren, Sherry McCurry,Christie Gonzales, Michelle BeVelle, Quincy BeVelle, Perry BeVelle,  and Bill and Clint McLemore; great grandchildren, David Gonzales, Zachary Gonzales, Nicholas Gonzales, Tyler Lopez, Quinn and Paige McCurry, and Sara Jane McLemore, Miles McLemore, Chance McLemore, Tray McLemore, Andrew BeVelle and Sawyer Gardner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stanley; her son, Steve and daughter , Ginger; a grandson, Michael and a granddaughter Kate Gonzales; sisters Loucille, Christine, Norma, Betty, and Ruth; a brother Charles.
Memorials in honor of Maxine BeVelle may be made to the Mooresville Community Center and left at or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home 3141 N. Washington Chillicothe MO 64601. On-line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe
Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service on Sunday (11:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m.).
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
