Maurice Randall

Maurice Wayne Randall, 84, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.
Maurice was born at Mound City , MO on March 3, 1929, the son of  Louis and Mildred (Roberts) Randall.
On May 16, 1950 Maurice married the love of his life for 63 years, Eleanor  Wiederholt at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Stanberry MO.  She survives of the home.
Maurice was the supervising painter at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville MO, retiring on April 1, 1986 after 35 years.
He was a member of St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Chillicothe and he enjoyed camping, renovating houses and had a real affinity for food. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and family.
Maurice is survived by his wife, Eleanor of the home; daughter, Jean Schottel and husband Franklin of Utica MO; granddaughters, Laura Schottel and fiancé Brian Parker of St. Louis MO and Amy Schottel-McIntyre and husband Jesse of Jacksonville FL; two great grandchildren, Austin Schottel-Thorne and Mavic McIntyre of Jacksonville FL; a sister, Wilma Hague of Waukee, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Fern Kissel.
Memorial in honor of Maurice Randall may be made to the Chillicothe Middle School Library and left at the funeral home or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe MO 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban’s Catholic  Church in Chillicothe on Monday , August 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
A Rosary followed by a visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 6:00p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Burial will be at St. Columban’s Cemetery  in Chillicothe.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
