Mary Frances Bills, 85, of Breckenridge MO, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe MO.
Mary was born July 16, 1930 in Breckenridge, the daughter of Fred and Nina Williamson Hargrave. She attended Breckenridge High School.
On August 30, 1947, she married Rex Edwin Bills in Breckenridge. He preceded her in death.
Mary was a member of the Christian Church of Breckenridge. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed working on the farm. Her family was very important to her and she treasured the time she spent with them.
She is survived by a son, Tom Bills and wife Donna of Braymer MO; daughter Trudy Gilgour and husband James “Turkey” of Breckenridge; daughter-in-law Linda Bills of Breckenridge; brother, Lloyd Hargrave and wife Beverly of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Charles Bills, Nicole Bills, Rex Bills, Nina Gilgour, and Jamee Gilgour; several; great grandchildren; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex Bills; son, Alan Bills; granddaughter Chastity Bills; 2 brothers, Charles and Russell Hargrave; a sister, Freda Hargrave.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital and left at or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington Chillicothe MO 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com .
There has been a cremation and a private burial will be held at a later date.
