Mary Ellen Allen

    Mary Ellen Allen, age 78, a resident of Meadville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Lifecare Nursing Home in Brookfield, Missouri.

    Mary was born on November 12, 1947, to Cecil Gladstone Timmons and Donna Frances Neely. On May 21, 1967, she was united in marriage to Richard Dean Allen in Stewartsville, Missouri.

    Survivors include one son, Doug Allen; one daughter, Cindy Kellison and husband Greg; one stepdaughter, Sherry Brown and husband Al; grandchildren, Brandon Morgan, Sarah Shrum, Diane Morgan, Brittany Slagle, Brandy Allen, and Anna Dougherty; five step grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Ruthie, Ariel and Kennedi; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Marvin Timmons and wife Lana; one sister, Brenda Search and husband John; along with several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Dean Allen; one stepson, Rick Allen; one brother, Ronnie Timmons; and one grandson, Michael Allen Tompkins.

    Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
