Lyndia Lee (Kidd) Lovell, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 19, 1949 in Edinburgh, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Marvin and Lois (Snider) Kidd.
On July 7, 1968, she married Delbert “Roy” Lovell at the Trenton United Methodist Church and they spent the next 57 years building a life together. They were blessed with five children: Misty Buckner of Mooresville, Missouri; Suzi (Jon) Morris of Ellington, Missouri; Shawn (Bill) Mason of Breckenridge, Missouri; Stella (Steve) Granville of Dawn, Missouri; and Ryan Lovell of Chillicothe, Missouri.
Lyndia was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren: Johna (Brad) Baysinger of Ellington, Missouri; Kyle (Kim) Mason of Kearney, Missouri; Marlois (Phillip) Slater of Breckenridge, Missouri; Taylor Morris of Ellington, Missouri; Mackenzie Buckner of Ellington, Missouri; Mykah (Kelan) Atkins of Lathrop, Missouri; Sarah (AJ) Barnes of Marshfield, Missouri; Garett (Kyra) Morris of Ellington, Missouri; Logan Granville of Dawn, Missouri; and Emalee Granville of Springfield, Missouri.
She was also blessed with 13 Great-Grandchildren who brought joy and laughter into her life: Kyler Mason, Jerrilyn Webb, Nia Atkins, Carter Slater, Rayden Mason, Jayden Scott, Quinn Baysinger, Finley Baysinger, Jersey Atkins, Macen Barnes, Hope Morris, and Patsy Jean Barnes.
Lyndia held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews: Tammy Robertson, Brittany Harris, Steven Braden, Sage Offield, Rodney Lawrence, Bryanna Kidd, Michael Kidd, Michael Bradshaw, and James Bradshaw. She also leaves behind many great- and great-great nieces and nephews who were dear to her.
Lyndia is also survived by her loving brother, Jim Kidd of Trenton, Missouri and her sister-in-law, Judy Kidd of Edinburgh, Missouri.
Lyndia was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lois Kidd; sister, Marlois Cummings; brother, Mickey Kidd; mother-in-law, Leona Lovell; sisters-in-law Shirley Kidd, Sherry Lovell, and Peggy Bradshaw; and her niece, Regina Braden.
Lyndia will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma, and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed, but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family visitation will be 7-8 PM, October 8, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe Missouri. Graveside services will be held at Mooresville Cemetery at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
