Chillicothe

Kathleen “Kathy” Sue Page passed away at her home in Chillicothe, MO on September 23rd, 2026 at the age of 76. She is on her way to Heaven where she will join her soulmate and husband Tom, who preceded her in death in June of 2024. Kathy was born in Kansas City, MO on March 17th, 1950 to her parents, Glen Bales and Rosemary Hendricks Bales. She is survived by her three siblings Linda Thompson, George Hunt, and Rose Kyees; her three sons, Jeff Fisher (wife Esme), Gary Fisher (life partner Lauren) and Chad Fisher (wife Emily); five grandchildren, Jeff Jr., Taylor, Zane, Anna and Clara; and five great-grandchildren and another one on the way. She kept few close friends but considered each of them to be very special to her.

Kathy proudly served in the Army Reserves, graduated from Graceland University, and cared for people for more than 30 years as a Registered Nurse with a BSN.

After her marriage to Tom on November 10, 2000, they lived in Overland Park, KS for a short time before moving to rural Kingsville, MO. There, they would spend the rest of their working lives before retiring and moving to Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob, MO. She enjoyed traveling with Tom to places like Alaska, Washington state, and especially Ireland where they visited numerous times.

Plants were Kathy’s favorite escape. She had a green thumb and enjoyed many flowers, plants and a beautifully manicured lawn. She also loved her Husky dogs! Over the course of many years, Kathy almost always had a Siberian Husky. While she and Tom were married, they had a Husky named Lucy, followed by the one she left behind, Yuri.

The perfect Mom and wife, she was the rock we needed in our lives, and a true American patriot.

Thank you for your unwavering patience and support, Mom. We love you!
