Katherine Johanette Campbell, 34, of Chillicothe passed away October 26, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Berry Rd. Kansas City MO.
Katherine was born April 2, 1981 in Smithville MO, the daughter of Dwight Kenton George and Donna Faye Thomas George. She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and received her BA in Nursing through North Central Missouri College and the University of Phoenix.
Katie had worked at Hedrick Medical Center, Carroll County Memorial Hospital and Liberty Hospital.
On May 3, 2003 she married Adam Nicholas Campbell at Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe. He survives of the home.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Katie’s main enjoyment was spending time with her family and especially with her husband and children.
She is survived by her husband Adam and children, Gavin and Mea Campbell of the home; parents, Dwight and Donna George of Chillicothe, father and mother-in-law, Dave and Pam Campbell; grandmother, Leta McNally; Grandparents Lewis and Mary Campbell all of Chillicothe; her sister, Dr. Sharla McFadden of Liberty; brother, Jesse George of Chillicothe; sister-in-law, Kasey Dial (AJ) of Agency; brother-in-law Jeremy Campbell (Michelle) of Liberty; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Katie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde R. and Myrna Jean Thomas and Harold and Juanita George; and a grandfather, Bob McNally.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Katie Campbell may be made to the Campbell family to help with the children’s education. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon until 5:00 on Saturday, October 31, 2015.
A visitation will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.at Heritage Funeral Home.
