Judith Ann Ishmael

Judith Ann Ishmael, 80, of Lawson, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab in Gallatin, MO.

Judy was born in Kentucky to parents Ralph and Hazel McCormick. She was a 1962 graduate of Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, NC.

Judy married Charles Ishmael on July 4, 1962 in Dillon, South Carolina. Two children were born of the marriage: Bonnye Lowe and Clifford Ishmael.

Judy was employed with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City and Liberty, MO. In retirement, Judy volunteered over 20 years at the Manor Thrift Shop in Liberty, MO. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and craft projects.

Judy is survived by children, Bonnye Lowe of Gallatin, Missouri; Clifford Ishmael and wife Terri of Barnes, Wisconsin; Five grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ishmael.

A funeral service for Judith Ann Ishmael will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO on Friday the 9th, 2025 at 2pm with a visitation held an hour before at 1pm. Service will conclude with the burial at Anderson-Smith Cemetery.

Memorials in honor of Judy may made to Life Unlimited care of Manor Thrift Shop and may be left at or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
