Jane Eileen Walz, 95, of Chillicothe, MO, formerly of Mooresville, MO passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, MO.
Eileen was born September 21, 1915 in Chillicothe, MO daughter of Ray E. Mosher Sr. and Florence Elsie Vencil Mosher.
She was a graduate of Cameron High School.
On December 20, 1936 Eileen married Edward Douglas Walz in Mooresville. He preceded her in death.
From 1967 thru 1981 Eileen worked as a houseparent for the Girls Training School in Chillicothe.
She was a member of the Mooresville Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 113 of Chillicothe, and received a certificate from RSVP for her more than 10,000 hours of service.
Eileen enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing cards and especially watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren playing in their various sports endeavors.
She is survived her daughter Judy Rawie of Mooresville; grandson, Doug Rawie and wife, Cindy of Liberty, MO; granddaughter, Beth Sanders and husband, Chris of Liberty, MO; great grandchildren, Megan, Jessica and Robert Rawie of Liberty, and Kyle Sanders of Liberty; a sister Fay Cohn and husband, Norman of Daytona Beach, FL; nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Florence; husband Edward Douglas Walz; an infant daughter; 3 brothers, Hershel, Ray E. Jr., and Richard Mosher; two sisters, Emmagene Barnhill and Ruth Johnson; a son-in-law, Wayne Rawie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, MO.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service (10:00 a.m.) on Thursday.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
