Jackie Wayne Shackelford

      Jackie Wayne Shackleford 77, of Chillicothe, MO. Passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Hedrick Medical Center. Jack Was born on October 26, 1948, to parents Wayne and Zelma (Munsey) Shackelford.

      Jack owned his own drywall company and ran it for several years. He enjoyed anything to do with trains whether it was models, going for ride on them or even just looking at pictures. Jack was an avid knife collector. He loved listening to music and singing along. Jackie Wayne Shackelford married Sherry Kay Leivan on August 6, 1991, in Atchison, Kansas.

     Jack is survived by Wife Sherry Shackelford of Chillicothe, MO. Children; Angela (Kevin) Kelmel of Barnard, MO., Joshua (Jennifer) Shackelford of Filmore, MO., Timothy (Christy) Shackelford of Shenandoah, IA., Justin (Jodi) Shackelford of Bolckow, MO., Jameson Shackelford of Barnard, MO., BJ (Brian) Meyer of St. Joseph, MO., Benjamin Meyer of Canon City, Co., Modanna Meyer of Chillicothe, MO., and John (Brittany) Meyer of St. Joseph, MO. Fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and another great-grandchild on the way and a sibling Sharon Shackelford Of Maryville, MO.

     Due to weather conditions celebration of life for Jack at Cornerstone Church Chillicothe, MO. has been changed to Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at Noon.

     Flowers can be delivered to Heritage Funeral Home.
