Geraldine Reeter

Geraldine Grey (Wilson) Reeter, 87, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away in Kansas City, Missouri on February 19, 2022.

Geraldine was born in rural Sampsel, Missouri on July 18, 1934, to parents, Ralph Bub Kenneth and Clarissa Florence (Hicks) Wilson. She was a 1951 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She married Albert Leroy Reeter at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Sampsel, Missouri on November 10, 1956. She worked at Mid-America Dairymen as a  secretary for over forty years and after retirement, she drove the Oats Bus for several years.

She was a member of the Peppy Promenaders, McDonald's Coffee Club, and Canasta Club. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, going for walks, and spending time with her friends and family.

Geraldine is survived by her niece, Sherry Jones; nephews, Richard Wilson; Russell Wilson; sisters-in-law, Eva Wilson; Charlotte Bashford; Dixie Reeter; Susan Reeter; Nancy Reeter; brother-in-law, Virgil Reeter; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Clarissa Wilson; husband, Albert Reeter; brothers, R.J. Wilson; Ronald Lee Wilson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Highview Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 22 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Highview Baptist Church.

Burial will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
