     In Loving Memory of Emily Jean Dominique

     It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished Emily Jean Dominique, who peacefully left us on August 14th, 2025 at the age of 98. Born on November 17, 1926 in Chillicothe, Emily lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a relentless dedication to others.

     A true example of selflessness, Emily was known for her unwavering work ethic and her deep commitment to helping those around her. Whether it was running a general store in Utica, working for the post office, helping at the local grocery store or many other numerous careers she held over her lifetime she always put the needs of others first. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her legacy of giving will never be forgotten.

     Those who knew Emily will always remember her for her bright smile, infectious laughter, and unshakeable positivity. No matter the circumstance, she had an incredible ability to find the silver lining and spread joy wherever she went. Her happiness was contagious, and her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

     Emily was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family meant the world to her, and she devoted herself to them with all her heart. The love she gave will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know her.

     She is preceded in death by her husband's Alden Taylor, Vern Frazier and Gilbert Dominique; sons Jim Taylor, Robert Taylor and Arthur Taylor. She is survived by grandchildren Shannon Jones (Jeff), Michael Taylor (Angie), Darcie Taylor and Melanie Taylor and countless great and great great grandchildren.

     The family will hold a private service at a later date.
