Beth Sickler 66, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home in Chillicothe.
Beth Sickler was born November 15, 1949 in Chillicothe MO, the daughter of Glen Clifton Acree Sr. and Elsie Lorraine McCracken Acree. She was a 1967 graduate of Southwest High School.
She worked at the Lambert Glove Factory and then for Kentucky Fried Chicken. She then became a secretary for the prison system, working in medical records for 14 years, before retiring.
On November 17, 1994 Beth married Oren Gene Sickler in the First Baptist Church of Chillicothe. He survives of the home.
Beth enjoyed reading, and growing flowers with Gene, he did the work and she enjoyed the results.  They liked camping together and were member of the Chillicothe Campers. Traveling and family gatherings were favorites of Beth.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Other survivors include her mother, Elsie Acree of Chillicothe; son, Adam Bethards (Lannie); daughter, Kim Donoho; stepsons, Lonnie (Cheryl) Sickler  and Tracy Sickler; stepdaughter Kelly Mitchell; 7 grandchildren; 2 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Ora Paul Acree, Sr. (Kathy), Rev. Glen Clifton Acree, Jr. (Debra), Larry Dean Acree, Sr., Gary Ray Acree (Vickie), James Lee Acree (Sheila); sister, Diane Nibarger (Jerry); dear friend, Phyliss Reith; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Roberta Summers and a brother, Bruce Acree.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to the Humane Society and left at or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe MO. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
A cremation will follow the funeral and burial will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe Mo.
