Elbert Timmons

Elbert Allan Timmons, 76, of Meadville, Passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Allan was born on March 30, 1943 in Chillicothe the son of Jesse Hosler Timmons and Velma Lotus Clarkson Timmons. He was a graduate of Meadville High School. Allan married Janese Kilburn November 15, 1964 at Calvary Baptist in Chillicothe.

Allan was a lifelong farmer, this was not only a job but something he loved to do. He was proud of his cows and had a special love for them.  He also had a love for the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His family time was his greatest joy.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janese; daughter Anita Reger (Jeff) of Chillicothe; son, Kevin Timmons (Connie) of Trinity, Florida; grandchildren, Trevor Reger (Elizabeth) of Nixa; Courtney Reger of Springfield, Kiersten and Samantha Timmons of Trinity, Florida; brother, Carl Timmons(Debbie) of Meadville; sister Nina Grace Farmer of Sullivan.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe. MO
