Edward Lee Rockhold, 84, of Mooresville, MO passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, MO.
Edward was born April 3, 1926 in rural Mooresville, MO the son of Frank Rockhold and Edna Myrtle Brokaw Rockhold,
He was a graduate of Mooresville High School and following graduation in 1944 he joined the United States Merchant Marines, serving from 1944 thru 1946.
On November 27, 1982 Edward married Orvaleta June Oesch in the Mooresville Methodist Church. She survives of the home.
Edward was a farmer in the Mooresville area all of his life.
He was a member of the Mooresville Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, mechanics and spending time with his family.
Edward is survived by his wife, Orvaleta, listed above; two daughters, Lisa Greer and husband, Jason, of Chillicothe, MO and Audrey Rockhold of Mooresville, MO; a son John Rockhold of Maryville, MO; three grandchildren, Colton, RyLeigh, and Tanner Greer of Chillicothe; two step grandsons, Jason Jr. and Jessee Greer of Chillicothe; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frank B. and Samuel Rockhold; sisters, Lucille B., Anna and Margaret Rockhold.

Burial will be at Utica Cemetery, Utica, MO.
A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m..
