Edith M. Hines

          Edith M. Hines 83, of Chillicothe MO. passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital Surrounded by her family. She was born on July 5^th 1940 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Buel Lester Dowell and Thelma Leta "Maxey" Dowell. 

          Edith enjoyed spending her time sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed working with flowers and gardening. 

          She is survived by her children, Janice Bowling, Edith Davis, Lester Hines, Melvin Hines, and Lee Hines. Along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as her sisters, Mary Chaney and Ruth Durnic.

          Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Hines, her son, William Hines, her parents, two sisters, Rosie Darr and Doris Trumbo, and her brother, Francis Dowell.
