Eddice Mae Raney, 86, of Chillicothe passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at North Kansas City Hospital.
Mae was born September 15, 1925 in Skidmore, MO the daughter of Joseph and Sadie Kemph Clester.
On June 26, 1941 she married Leonard Franklin Snider in Maryville, MO. He preceded her in death in 1960. She then married Bill Raney in Las Vegas NV on July 1. 1973 and he preceded her in death in 1983.
Mae worked for the Boss Glove Factory in Chillicothe until it closed.
She was a member of St. Columban’s Catholic Church, Chillicothe and the American Legion Auxiliary of Chillicothe.
Mae enjoyed crochet and made many bedspreads for friends and family she also enjoyed flower gardening.
She is survived by three sons, Marvin Snider and wife, Brenda, of Boonville MO, Dale Snider and wife, Patty, of Troy MO, and Tom Snider and wife, Kitty, of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren, Mendy, Melissa, Kevin, Kelly, Mike and Ken; 11 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Leonard and Bill; an infant daughter; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Memorials in honor of Eddice Mae Raney may be made to  the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Make A Wish Foundation and left at the funeral home or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe MO 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com .
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at May Cemetery, Chula, MO on Friday, July 27, 2012.  Family and friends will meet at Heritage Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. to travel in procession to the cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
