Donna Eulav (Stephens) Cooper, age 84, of Chillicothe MO, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Indian Hills in Chillicothe.
She was born March 2, 1931 near Sampsel MO in Livingston County and lived her entire life there and in Chillicothe. She was the daughter of Arnold and Stella Walker Stephens.
On November 25, 1952 she married Warren Cooper of Chillicothe MO. He died April 23, 2002.
She attended Sneed School and graduated from Chillicothe High School in the class of 1949.
She was a housewife and worked at the Jess Miller Drugstore in the 1950s and at The Training School for Girls and the Chillicothe Correction Center for 31 years, where she retired in 1994.
She was a member of Highview Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister Nadine James; one brother, Gerald Stephens and wife Carolyn; two nephews; Reid Stephens and wife Natalie, and Scott Stephens and wife Sherry all of Chillicothe; five great nephews, Reid Jr. Stephens and wife Linsey of Ridgecrest CA; Zachary Stephens of the  U. S. Navy  stationed in Spain; Brooks Stephens of Lander WY; Brett Stephens of the U.S. Navy stationed in Silverdale WA, Blake Stephens of Rolla MO; three great nieces, Katie Jane Stephens of California, Cassie Graham and husband Zac of Kansas City MO, and Chelsea Wedlock and husband Ethan also of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; father and mother in law, Earl and Mary Cooper; and one brother in law Offa (Turk) James all of Chillicothe.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and may be left at Heritage Funeral Home 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe MO. On-line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Chillicothe MO.
There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the funeral home to sign the book.
Arrangements are under the direction of heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
