David Leslie Sutton, 77, of rural Jamesport, MO died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe after a brief illness.
David was born December 15, 1937 in Weatherby MO, son of Homer Glen and Eva May Kelley Sutton. He was a graduate of Jamesport High School.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a farmer.
On September 17, 1976 David married Charlotte Elaine McKiddy in Lock Springs MO. She survives of the home.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar and especially spending time with his family.
His survivors include his wife Charlotte of the home; son, David Ray Sutton of Auburn KY, his daughter, Dr. Samantha Sutton and her husband James Staton of Chillicothe, and youngest son, Benjamin Sutton of the home; brothers, Loren (Wayne) Sutton of Hale MO, and William Sutton of Chillicothe; nephews, Troy Sutton and family of Afton NY and Spencer Sutton of Chillicothe.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe Mo.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
