David Wyatt Bendure

     David Wyatt Bendure 21, of Chillicothe, MO passed away on January 15, 2026 at Hedrick Medical Center. He was born on February 22, 2004 to Kristie Lee (Hurley) Tharp. David graduated from Chillicothe High School in the class of 2022.

     He enjoyed playing on computers, boating, fishing, taking long walks and drives. Wyatt loved to play on the slot machines throughout town, and was even lucky enough to win enough to buy a new phone. But most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

     Wyatt is survived his mother and step-dad, Kristie and Johnathan Tharp of Chillicothe, MO, brother, Kalab Lee of Chillicothe, grandparents, Jim and Shelia Acree of Chillicothe. His great-grandmother, Bonita Plumb of Chillicothe, As well as his step-grandparents Christine and Jay Newton in Trenton, MO and his aunts and uncles, Dustin Newton of Chillicothe, Curtis and Tiffany Acree of Chillicothe, and Krystal Mueller.

     He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bud John Hurley and Mary Hurley. His great grandparents, Fred Jones, Glen and Elise Acree, one other great grandmother, and Milton Mark “Mickey” Jones, Nila Ruth Jones and his cousin, Freddy BJ Jones Jr.

     Memorials in honor of David Wyatt Bendure can be made out to Kristie and Johnathan Tharp.

      A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
