Carl Delmar Boswell, 86, resident of Chillicothe, MO, passed away on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at Morningside Center Nursing Home. Carl was born January 24th, 1940 in San Fernando, California to Ralph and Maggie Boswell. Carl was a member of Turning Point Church, Chillicothe, MO.
Carl owned and worked on the road as a commercial tire repair service on the interstate highways and freeways in Los Angeles, California prior to retiring. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles 4097 in North Vernon, IL. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching westerns, and winning at dominoes.
Carl is survived by a son, Carl Lee Boswell and wife Brenda of Neosho, MO; daughter Dianna Lane and husband Bud of Reeds Spring, MO; daughter Martha Johnson and husband Tom of Hartford, AR; and daughter Carol Chastain of Ozark, Arkansas. Grandchildren Benny Boswell and wife Mandi; Ginger Connell and husband Stuart; Oliver Spring; Rose Boswell, Tony Boswell, James Lane and Sommer South, Arica Robinson and husband Kevin; Stephanie Kinsch and husband Shawn; Cal Lane and wife Jazmin; Kandi Morris and husband Seth; Kalt Johnson and wife Meghan; Jennifer Richards; Britney Chambers; Shelby Shafer; Kathleen Lacey; several great grandchildren; one brother, Gifford Boswell and wife Violet; and several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lawrence Boswell, Vernon Boswell, Gene Boswell, Kenneth Boswell, Clarence Boswell, Grover Boswell, and Finis Boswell; sisters Opal Boswell, Bonnie Boyd, and Georgine Cummings.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 11th, 2026 at 1:00pm with visitation from 12:00-1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be in the Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, MO.
Memorial contributions can be made to Turning Point Church- Royal Rangers or Turning Point Church- Concert Fund, and may be left at or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N Washington St, Chillicothe, MO 64601
