Bobby Ray Sharp, 88, of Dawn, Missouri passed away at his home on Sunday, February 9, 2020.

Bobby was born May 18, 1931 in Meadville, Missouri to parents Lexi Albin and Jessie Marie Corbin Sharp. He was a 1949 graduate of Meadville High School. Bobby proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Bob worked as a farmer and had a great love for his horses. He enjoyed going to horse shows and his daily Bible readings. His time with his family and grandchildren was truly special to him.

Bobby is survived by his sons, Randy Sharp and wife Shaula of Raleigh, North Carolina; Rick Sharp and wife Leslee of Raleigh, North Carolina, grandchildren, Todd Sharp and wife Ashley of Greenville, South Carolina; Lindsey Milczakowskyj and husband Demitrius of Fayetteville, North Carolina; brothers, Bill Sharp and wife Kay of Chillicothe; Jerry Sharp and wife Carolyn of Jamesport; sisters, Beverly Jones of Saint Joseph; Connie Riddle and husband Roy of Bethany.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vernice Sharp, brothers, Donald and Gary Sharp and sister Betty Lightfoot.

Funeral service will be held Saturday February 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.

A private family burial will take place at Welsh Cemetery in Dawn, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home.
