Beverly Jean Spears, 61, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Boone County Memorial Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Beverly was born December 16, 1949 in Chillicothe, MO the daughter of Edgar Franklin McKiddy and Lorna Bernice Wilson McKiddy.
She was a graduate of Truman University, Kirksville, MO.
On August 30, 1969 Beverly married Michael P. Spears in Jamesport, MO. He survives of the home.
Beverly was a homemaker and English teacher who enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Michael P. Spears of Chillicothe; two daughters, Kathleen Spears of Columbia, MO and Erin Dennis and husband, Brandon, of Chillicothe; mother, Lorna McKiddy of Chillicothe; a sister, Charlotte Sutton and husband, David of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar McKiddy and brother, Walter Earl McKiddy.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
