Betty Jo Sears, 86, of Chillicothe, formerly of Linn County and of Utica, MO passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe.
Betty was born September 1, 1928 in Boomer MO, the daughter of Dewey Miller and Rebecca Jenkins Miller.
She married Robert Sears on April 16, 1946 in South Gifford, MO. He preceded her in death.
Betty was a member of Utica Baptist Church and of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by four daughters, Glenda Standley of Marceline MO, Gloria Sears of Maryville TN, Kathryn Joffrion of Wake Forest NC, and Penny McColm of Crofton KY; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; and four brothers, Bill, Tom, Ronald and Donald.

A private family visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO, followed by a public visitation from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Heritage.
A graveside service and burial will held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Elmwood Cemetery in Linneus MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
