Betty Jean Moore

     Betty Jean Moore, 93, of Chillicothe passed away Friday, October 2, 2026 at her home.

     Betty was born June 24, 1933 in Edinburg, Missouri, daughter of Ross Columbus Caselman and Mildred Irene (Graham) Caselman. Betty grew up in Meadville and attended the Meadville School.

     She worked at Morningside Center in Accounts Receivable and Purchasing Department for over twenty years.

     Betty married Nolan A. “Bill” Moore on October 22, 1962, who preceded her in death in April, 1980.

     Her family was most important to her. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart.

     Betty is survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy Harris and wife Lisa, Bryan Harris, and Jamie Harris; her great-grandchildren, Bryson, Roman, Scarlette, Violette, Lachlan, Marinette, Rosette, Caralette, and Juliette; her sisters, Darlene Albrecht, Dorothy Childs, Christine Fischer, and Linda Sayre; her brothers, Donald Caselman, and Richard Caselman; her daughter-in-law Donna Harris; and many nieces and nephews.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Mildred; her husband Nolan “Bill”; her son, Randy Harris; her sisters, Erma Applebury, and Carolyn Swartz; and her brothers, Junior and Jimmy Dale Caselman.

     A private family burial for Betty Jean Moore has been held at Wheeling Cemetery.
