Betty Joan BeVelle

Chillicothe

     BettyJoan BeVelle was born April 26, 1938 in Breckinridge, Missouri to Clyde Robert Chashatt and Beulah Elsie (Knouse) Cashatt. She married Roy Gene BeVelle on May 29, 1959 in Chillicothe, Missouri.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Ronnie Cashatt and Raymond Deloyd Cashatt and one sister, Deloris Griffith.

     She is survived by two sons, David BeVelle (Lisa) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Greg BeVelle (Terry) of Lowry City, Missouri, one brother, Robert (Meada) Cashatt of Rancho Cordova, California and one sister, Carol (Ronnie) Hamilton of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Seth BeVelle, Grayson O'Dell, Nathan BeVelle, Ben BeVelle and Trent BeVelle as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

     She was also a long time member of the First Baptist Church and an avid quilter and a great cook.

     A funeral service for Betty BeVelle will be held on Wednesday, 10/22/2025 starting at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO. A visitation will take place an hour before at 10am. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, MO.
