Barbara June McCoy

     Barbara June McCoy 94, of Chillicothe, MO passed away on Saturday July 5th, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 31, 1931 to her parents Donald Merle Ewing and Lucille Dust Ewing.

     She was a proud member of the St. Columban Catholic Church in Chillicothe and Altar Society. Barbara enjoyed solving puzzles, reading books, beating her friends and family at Bridge, and baking pies for those who wanted them. But, most of all Barabara loved spending time with her family and watching their lives take shape.

     Barbara is survived by her children, three sons, Gary Nelson McCoy, Patrick William McCoy with his wife Paula and David Lawerance McCoy. One daughter, Jena Marise McCoy Pyrtle with her husband Michael. Along with one daughter in law, Jayne McCoy.

     Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill Nelson McCoy, her son, Dennis Michael McCoy, and two grandsons, Brent Allan McCoy and Jeffery Don McCoy.

     A celebration of life will take place at Saint Columban Catholic Church at 11:30am on Saturday August 16th. With a Rosary and a Celebration of life at the church with a lunch at the school cafeteria. 

     Memorials in honor Barbara June McCoy may be made out Saint Ann Altar Society.
