Bonnie Lea Minnis Thompson, 81, of Cameron, formerly of Mooresville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday February 12, 2019, at Quail Run Health Center in Cameron, Missouri.
Bonnie was born March 28, 1937 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Clyde Minnis and Edith Wheelbarger Minnis. Bonnie married Clarence Thompson on August 26, 1954. She was a lifetime member of Breckenridge Baptist Church.
She enjoyed many things in her full life such as gardening, chickens, crafts of all kinds, quilting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Lee Thompson (Terri) of Cameron; Connie Jones of Liberty; Susan Mobley of Utica; Lucille Powers of Eastanolle, GA; seven grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; sisters, Doris Hussey of Avalon; Carolyn McCracken of Bogard; Mary Minnis of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceeded I death by her parents, Clyde and Edith Minnis; husband, Clarence Thompson; siblings, Bobby Minnis; Eugene Minnis; Roy Minnis; Lula Minnis; Martha Taylor; Eva DeArmon.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Mooresville Cemetery.
